Bigger Guns Before Knives: Imaged Guided Nonoperative Options for MSK Problems
Friday October 9, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm MDT
Your patient has diligently followed their treatment program, but is not making the progress you and they desire. Maybe they have been offered surgery and are hesitant, or perhaps surgery isn’t an option for their situation. They ask you about what else could be done. What will you tell them?

Join us for this session, as we discuss established and emerging treatment options for difficult musculoskeletal problems, with real patient cases, fun clinical images, and supporting evidence. Some of the options we’ll review include cortisone injections, aspiration, sclerotherapy, barbotage, hydrodissection, hydrodialation, platelet rich plasma, stem cells, peptides, and more.

Objectives:

  1. Describe indications, contraindications, risks and benefits for common image guided MSK procedures
  2. Identify patient scenarios where these procedures could be considered
  3. Counsel patients on common procedural experience and realistic results
